  • File 2024 Income Tax Return (Form 1120-S): Submit the S Corporation income tax return for the previous year.
  • Request an Extension (Form 7004): Use Form 7004 for a six-month extension if more time is needed to complete Form 1120-S.
  • File Form 2553 for 2025 S Corporation Election: Newly elected S Corporations must file Form 2553 to establish their tax status.  

June 16, 2025

  • Second Installment of Estimated Taxes: Shareholders must pay their Q2 2025 estimated tax liabilities. 

September 15, 2025

  • File Extended Income Tax Return (Form 1120-S): Final submission date for S Corporations that requested extensions in March.
  • Third Installment of Estimated Taxes: Shareholders must pay their Q3 2025 third estimated tax liabilities.

December 15, 2025

  • Fourth Installment of Estimated Taxes: Shareholders must make their final quarterly estimated tax payment for 2025.
